I designed these invitations last year with an “adult” Halloween party in mind. Adult being in quotes because really who’s going to be acting mature at this type of party? It’s pretty much if Animal House threw a haunted party. I even included the fraternity letters “Beta Omega Omega” and a TPed drunken mummy.

The other version is straight up traffic-cone-on your-head-drunk-times. It could be interpreted as a drunken witch hat, but really it’s whatever you want it to be.

Both versions are in my Etsy shop here. Check them out and throw a haunted house party!

I’ve always been a fan of cute little hand-stamped muslin bags. I always save the ones I get from Anthropologie because they’re too darn cute to just throw away. I’ve never gotten to actually use them though for an event yet, until now. I’m thinking of using them as save the dates and filling them with a few seeds. The couple is getting married in a garden and love to garden themselves. Little seed pouches just seem appropriate. Yes, yes I could go the paper route and make seed packets, but that’d be too easy!

Check out a few muslin bag ideas I found on the interwebs for inspiration:

lavender sachets

herb packets

gorgeous invitation holders

adorable party favors

Check out a ton more little baggies handstamped with all kinds of things at Jennifer’s Cookies Etsy Shop.

Well I think i’ve gotten to the age where taking regular meds is a good idea, or at least having some on hand if necessary. Whether it’s birth control, anti-anxiety meds, a TUMS, an aspirin, or a vitamin, I feel like I need to have all of them handy for me or my husband or a friend in need.

But of course I can’t just shlep around these pills in an ugly old pill bottle. Nooo, I’m planning on getting on of those cute vintage pill boxes. I found a ton on Etsy and can’t decide which one to get. I think it needs to be pretty sizeable though to fit the pharmacy that I will be carrying. Below are just a few cuties I found on Etsy:

So I’ve been obsessed with this purse  by Clare Vivier for a while now but I’ve never gotten the courage to purchase it. Why? A couple reasons. It’s a little pricey, but more importantly, it has no handle. Yes i understand it is a clutch and clutches don’t have handles. I just wish I had the option of one in case i get lazy later on at night and don’t want to shlep it around. Luckily I found these awesome leather pouches below by Etsy designer BlackBird and The Owl. Yes, still no handle, but half the price as one of the above bags and handmade. Definitely check out her Etsy shop for more adorable little bags. I can’t decide which one to get but one will be mine soon!

The other week I had seen on Pinterest some old folded notes that we used to pass in school to our friends. This was pre-cell phones and texting. The good ole-days where you intricately folded your notebook paper in little origami notes specially made for a friend or a crush.

I decided it was time to bring back the folded note and do it in a big way. As you unfold your love note, each panel reveals part of a message, building up to the big reveal inside. Grab one for your lovey on Etsy!

I love this poster by Beauchamping. So smart. All of their stuff on their Etsy site is so simple yet smart. Definitely check them out.
