This is the first post of many I will be making about 60s fashion. I looooove it. All the gogo boots, mini skirts, big hair and crazy colors. Yes, there will be much more to come. But for now, here’s a little history fact I learned. Jean Shrimpton (pictured below) was the first to coin the term “mini skirt.” She was considered the icon of “Swinging London” and one of the world’s first super models. She actually came a little before Twiggy and broke the model mold with her long legs and slim figure. She was known for her “long hair with bangs, wide doe-eyes ,long wispy eyelashes, arched brows, and pouty lips.”Tweet
