This is a new take on my original SIN invitation. I played around with some new typefaces and chose some appropriate bachelorette colors of hot pink and black. I’m thinking of lining the envelopes with hot pink or red glitter paper. I think it will look pretty hot!
TweetTomorrow night is the Oscars as most of you already know. I am so out of the loop this year it’s pathetic. I think i may have seen 2 out of the 10 films nominated. I keep telling myself one year I’m going to watch all of them and then throw an Oscars party! Below are some adorable Oscar party invitation ideas I found. Twig & Thistle has some free DIY Oscar’s printables on their site. Definitely have a look.
Below are some of my personal favorites because they incorporated the movies nominated that year. Love it. View more here.
TweetMy sister sent me a link to this ridiculously cute online shop called “Shop Sweet Lulu.” It’s one of those shops where you’re seized with an overwhelming sensation of greed and crazy. You know what I’m talking about. When all of a sudden you’re like “I. Need. Everything. Here.” You never realized before how much you needed adorable wooden spoons with painted chevrons, but now that you’ve seen them, you’re combing through your brain rolodex trying to see what event you can mold into a party so you can buy these. And the matching paper straws, annnnd you’re going to need the giant round polka dot balloons, the notebook paper gift bags the paper suitcases because…you NEED them. In every color. And the prices are super reasonable so you literally can buy things in every color. This place is the holy grail for party decor. Sweet Lulu? More like Sweet Geezus. Check out their site and tell me you don’t get that same “polka dotted rainbow crazy feeling” I got.

TweetI wanted to design a Halloween invitation for a party that a 21+ year old might throw. If we’re being honest, other than costumes and the occasional holiday-themed shots cocktails served, an adult Halloween party is essentially just another excuse to drink and have fun – and there’s nothing wrong with that!
So based on this idea, I thought of what a haunted house my look like if it was combined with a fraternity party. What would the Greek letters be? Who would attend? What would go on at the party? These designs are what I came up with:
